Overview
Mukesh brings over 17 years of specialised experience in metallurgical and mechanical testing, having been an integral part of TCR Engineering Services since 2008. His technical expertise spans metallography, microstructure analysis, grain size determination, inclusion rating, decarburization, case depth measurement, and hardenability testing all conducted as per ASTM, IS, ISO, and DIN standards.
Background and experience
He is proficient in corrosion testing including Intergranular Corrosion (IGC) as per ASTM A262, pitting and crevice corrosion per ASTM G48, hydrogen induced cracking (HIC), and corrosion testing per G28. His mechanical testing expertise covers tensile, hardness (HRC, HV, BHN), micro hardness, impact (Izod & Charpy), flattening, flaring, shear load, and proof load testing.
He is also familiar with SEM and EDS analysis and handles in-situ metallography. His experience extends to testing ferrous and non-ferrous materials including copper, nickel alloys, and Inconel.
Mukesh actively participates in NABL audits as an auditee and is experienced in customer handling, failure analysis, corrective and preventive action management, and non-conformance resolution.
He holds a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from BIT Sindri, Dhanbad (Jharkhand), providing a strong academic foundation that underpins his extensive practical expertise at TCR.
